Mobile Clinic

Mobile Clinic

A1 Smile Clinic comes to you!

We provide our dental devices in our clinic and your home, at your child's school, and in your senior family member's rest home.

A team of denture professionals is on its way to you!

We know that sometimes it's challenging to keep an appointment when juggling everyday life tasks. And that becomes even more difficult when living in a rest home or when mobility is limited. We believe it's important to create devices that meet clients' needs and make them accessible for everyone.

Guided by this belief, we have put in place a mobile team of professionals who, equipped with the needed experience and expertise, can reach you wherever you may be.

The team conducts consultations at your home to establish what kind of denture suits you best. They go to schools to take impressions for custom mouthguards children need for playing sports. They visit rest homes where the elderly require dentures or mouthguards to enable them to speak, smile, laugh, chew, eat or sleep without difficulty.

Our products are durable, customised and a perfect match!

The dentures we provide are custom-made in our lab located in Dunedin from materials that stand the test of time and long wear. We can visit you anywhere in the greater Dunedin area, including Balclutha, Milton, Mosgiel, Waitati, Waikouaiti and Palmerston.

Our dentures have the main advantage they feel like real teeth, natural and comfortable. Either partial or full, dentures are created following the structure and particularities of the client's mouth, enabling an accurate fit without any discomfort or pain while putting on, wearing or taking them out.

Our custom mouthguards are manufactured from resistant, soft-elastic, lasting materials that serve several purposes:

  • Alleviates the symptoms of various affections such as bruxism (clenching and grinding of teeth during sleep);
  • Temporomandibular disorder (jaw discomfort and pain during chewing and a reduced capacity to open the mouth);
  • sleep apnea ( breathing repeatedly stops and starts).

Sports mouthguards protect the face, tongue, gums, lips, jaw and cheeks from injuries that may occur when practising sports such as rugby, boxing, martial arts, football, soccer, basketball, biking, gymnastics, ice skating and others.

Rely on us for home delivered denture care and service

Providing your custom-made dentures usually involves taking impressions (moulds) of your mouth and manufacturing the dentures as per these moulds. Once the dentures are ready, our team of professionals will install them and make any required fine adjustments to make sure they fit accurately and feel comfortable in your mouth.

These adjustments and fitting visits can also be made in your home without requiring you to come to our clinic. The same applies to the after-care of dentures, which is an important service to ensure the dentures remain in good condition for longer.
